Daniel Robert Elfman (born May 29, 1953) is an American singer-songwriter who led the rock band Oingo Boingo from 1978 until its breakup in 1995, and has since gone on to become one of the most sought-after film score composers working in Hollywood today. He has written the scores for numerous films (including Wanted, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Spider-Man, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Girl on the Train) as well as composing themes to several TV shows, including The Simpsons, Desperate Housewives, and Tales From The Crypt.More
